You don't need to install it... just let the setup program unpack all the files into the temporary folder it creates... copy the network.cab file from there, then click the Cancel button on the setup.

Hi When the kb say:Click Edit > Virtual Network Editor.Select a network adapter that has the Type set to Bridged.In the Bridged to drop down box select a usable network adapter.Repeat steps 1 to 3...

It's probably not surprising but when I restarted the VM the Network connection was still Bridge - Automatic. (Not sure if that's the problem)
