windows server 2012

Look in the .vmx configuration file for that VM and does it have the following: ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000e" Also is the device connected in the VM's Settings?

The log file shows that the VM was being resumed from a checkpoint.  I suspect that the host OS has disabled some hardware peripheral that the suspended VM was expecting to see.  Perhaps a USB hub?...
