AAppreciate Andre. So do I choose bridged or NAT? THe IP addresses for the hosts -  they need to map to either VMnet 1 or VMnet8. this case right? The above IP is the IP of the Local area network.

Since the network seems to work now, this sounds more like a web server configuration issue on the Linux VM than a networking issue!? André
