Let me clear the scenario in the following words and screen shots.

Scenario 1

Other LAN computers are visible and accessible from guest VM but no internet connection

Green highlighted system is my host system. Here you can see that including VM all my LAN systems are visible and accesible

Here I have selected the custom: Specific virtual Network

And the VMnet2 is bridged to my Intel(R) 82579W Gigabit Network Connection

Let me tell in the above settings I can access the lan and VM from other computers but i cannot get internet connection in the VM guest OS.

Scenario 2

Other LAN computers are not visible and not accessible from guest VM but i can get a good internet connection in the VM guest OS

Green highlighted system is my host system. Here you can see that only my Host System and the VM is visible no other system from the LAN is visible but as you can see in the internet explorer that i can very well get an internet connection.

Here I have selected the NAT: Used to share the Host's IP address.

End of Scenarios

Iam using Workgroup Network type.

Host OS: Windows 7 32 bit.

Guest VM OS: Windows XP SP2 32 bit.

I described above both the senarios that i attempted. Now i need a solution by which i can access all my LAN computers and also get internet connection in my guest VM OS.

How is this possible.

Please help me.

Thanks in Advance.
