thanks for ur advice. I did try bridging. the vm always defaulted to an ip of 10.10.10.100 subnet 255.255.255.0.
THe Vista ip would be my company's IP address as it is connected to the company network. tried changin the VM's IP to the same IP on the company network but still can't get connected to the NET. Is this the right method?
Also IS it technically possible for TWO VMs to talk to each other when they are on different hosts?
