Things to consider:
Did you validate the MD5/SHA1 checksum for the downloaded file against its published values?
If the .bundle in not in the current directory show in Terminal you need to include the FQP.
In some cases if the file in in the current directory show in Terminal one may need to preface the .bundle file with ./ and both the second and third points here are SOP with Linux/Unix OSes. These are things any Linux/Unix User should know!
